Facility Executive features district cooling collaboration between UMASS & SWEP BPHEs

Our BPHEs (brazed plate heat exchangers) were recently highlighted in a very successful district cooling application on the University of Massachusetts Medical campus in the $400 million-dollar state of the art Albert Sherman Center.

The article was written by PJ Qvarnstrom (Consultant & Utility Business Manager for SWEP) and is titled “Heat Recovery Helps Cool UMass Med School Facility”. It explains how our BPHEs were an integral part of the heat recovery system keeping this vast 11-story building cool and comfortable in the warm summer months.
