Cooling sheet metal laser cutting equipment with SWEP All-Stainless brazed plate heat exchangers

SWEP’s robust All-Stainless brazed plate heat exchangers helped provide optimized cooling for sheet metal laser cutting equipment where deionized water is the main coolant. The copper-free chiller system was imperative to maintain the integrity of non-conductive coolants.

SWEP Systems help provide warmth and comfort to Beijing residents

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, residents in almost all parts of China had to conduct their daily activities indoors. To guarantee the living quality and comfort level of these residents, Beijing officials made the decision to extend its central heating service in the city for 16 additional days (until March 31st, 2020).

BAOSI & SWEP: Working together to support the fight against COVID-19

The COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 took the entire world by surprise. The devastating effects were felt in every major city and it turned the healthcare industry on its head. One of the most needed items in hospitals on the frontlines was personal protective equipment (PPE), including surgical masks. The melt-blown fabric used for medical surgical masks is created by blowing hot compressed purified air which is heated using brazed plate heat exchangers.

Breaking new ground for transcritical CO2 systems

BITZER Australia approached SWEP to create a new transcritical CO2 system for a Woolworths grocery store in Sydney, Australia. SWEP has led the global development of ultrapressure brazed plate heat exchangers for transcritical supermarket refrigeration for the last decade and was prepared to solve the challenges that the hot Australian climate poses for transcritical systems.

Creating a modern and modular cooling solution for The Second Affiliated Hospital of Fujian Medical University

The cooling system in the ward and office areas of The Second Affiliated Hospital of Fujian Medical University was in need of an upgrade. SWEP designed a solution using prefabricated Energy Transfer Station (ETS) modules. The flexibility of these modules allowed for a fast, high-quality installation that fits into the limited available space while still being able to provide a stable and comfortable cooling environment to medical staff and patients and helping to facilitate the medical modernisation in China.

Oventrop: Keep water running with Sealix® brazed plate heat exchangers

Scaling and corrosion are two of the main reasons for the breakdown of tap water heating systems. This was also the experience of Oventrop – one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of sanitary fittings and water systems. At least until they turned to SWEP’s new range of Sealix® protected brazed-plate heat exchangers.

SWEP Malaysia: brazed plate heat exchangers used for highly efficient cooling systems

Take a closer look at the cooling system at SWEP Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, as an example of a highly efficient and low-maintenance cooling system.

Enclean Technology Limited reduces operating costs while improving energy efficiency

Enclean Technology Limited in Beijing, China is focusing on district heating and is committed on creating a greener future by providing more efficient, environmental-friendly and comfortable heating services.

SWEP and Ecogetec provide efficient heating to Tauá resort in Brazil

Ecogetec is a Brazilian company that creates technology that transforms biomass into heat for pool and tap water for hotels, motels, industries, hospitals and clubs. When it came to a project involving providing a more efficient heating solution at Tauá Resort in Brazil, Ecogetec chose SWEP as their preferred heat transfer partner. The project called for (46) SWEP brazed plate heat exchangers to be installed in different locations around the resort.

Using available energy for productive use

ORC (Organic Rankine Cycle) technology made possible by SWEP brazed plate heat exchangers is being used in Sweden to transform waste heat into renewable electricity. This high efficiency and low maintenance way to produce sustainable electricity is being adopted by district heating systems around the world.

Waste to Energy - 80% was turned into district heating

Vestforbraending is one of the largest waste management companies in Northern Europe. The company owns and operates a combined heat and power producing waste-to-energy plant with an annual capacity of 600,000 tonnes of waste. All the heat produced is utilized as the plant is interconnected with the regional district heating system in Copenhagen.
